First off Jeasus was born in the summer time
Second off it was started as a Pagen (sp?) holiday that christians took over and changed it
The pagen holiday was a holiday of feasting in thanks for one of thier gods bring forth the winter solstics or w/e something like that
i don't rember exactly
but yeah
Also this thing about giving gifts WTF .. mate i mean seriously
when did that come along
the St. Nick and the stockings but the gifts under the tree i mean come on its just become and holidy so that stores can get rich
like valintines day is a candy company/ card company thing so tha they can get lots of money
i mean the onl;y holidy that is acctually even worth celbrating is like Forth of July our independence which is also wrong and New Years celebrating our servival of a year
The truth about 4th Of July is that that is not when the Decleration was acctually compleatly signed it is only when the majority signed it the last person to sign didnt sign till sometime in August
